A Conspiracy that Engages the Entire World

And the angel said unto them, "Fear not! For, behold, I bring you tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. "For unto you are born this day in the city of David A Savior, which is Christ the Lord. And this shall be a sign unto you: Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger."
- Luke 2:10-12

Christmas, the date of birth of Jesus Christ, a season that engages the entire world in a conspiracy of sharing, love, peace. It is the most celebrated holiday in the whole year by the entire world that even I like it more than my own birthday.

As you woke up in a September morning, you feel the cold breeze touching your skin, telling you to get excited for the awaited holiday of the year is already approaching. So, there enters the start of the countdowns for the Christmas. Twinkling lights, colorful lanterns and extravagant Christmas trees are seen in every home, school, and establishments, they are everywhere. Sweet voices of the Christmas carolers are on your doors. Christmas programs and parties are thrown. Gifts were sent and received.

During this season, we let the people near us to feel how much we love and cherish their presence. We sent them gifts, cards and even tell them how thankful we are. We also try to visit them in their homes. It is really nice to give something we have and to receive unexpected gifts.

Though we celebrate it filled with material things, we still don’t forget its true essence for Christmas is also known to us Thanksgiving Day to remind us that we celebrate it to thank the God for sparing us, sinners, his only begotten son to save us from the fires of hell. That’s why we celebrate this day with our family and together have a dinner with them. And as a gift to God, to whom we owe everything, we give Him our love, gratitude and even our own lives.

Start Of Something New

“Every end is a new beginning.”

Another grading has ended again, and likewise, another grading started. And as a student, I’ve known that events happened repeatedly, that things happened the way they used to be. If it ends, it will again start the way you started it.

My second quarter in my fourth year life has never been different from the first one, added that there were only few events. One of them is the intramural meet that was held rush though I think that all things happened this grading a re always in the rush. We’ve had this grading rushed for there lots of delays in our schedule for in this moth, few storms past in our area, making our classes suspended, and even our semester break which we should’ve enjoyed much. But then I wasn’t that disappointed for even though things turned out that way, we were still able to enjoy some canceled time. The intramural turned out to be fun, there were new activities done. The dance sport, the singing idol, which were both nice.

In general, this grading is all the same except the new happenings that we enjoyed. Though, this grading is a lot of fun even though everything is on the rush.

And so, this is indeed the start of something new and the start of ending. Meaning, we are again about to start a new grading, which is the third grading, the another start of calvary and learning.

My Father, My Teacher, My Hero

“Experiences are our best teachers.” It means that our own experiences are our own teachers. But have we thought who our teachers were before we have our own experiences?

From the day that we were born to the day of our bereavement, there would always be someone behind us. There would always be someone seeing and teaching us in everything that we do. And that my father used to be this person that I’m pertaining to. For when I was still a child, knowing nothing, he thought me every single thing that a person needs to know and learn. From learning to ride a bike to knowing everything. He thought me to become a better person. But then, nothing is perfect, and as a person even though you may say that you’ve learns anything you need to learn, you can still commit a mistake. And so did I, but then, I was able to make it right in some instances, for he is there to understand and supply my imperfections not only because I’m his daughter and thus he cares for me, but because he wants me to become a better person, he concerns me.

He may not be like the superheroes that we used to watch through the television like Superman, Batman, Ironman, The Fantastic Four and others. But for a girl like me, he certainly rally is. For because of him, I was able the see the world and live my life the way that I want it to be. And that is my father, my teacher, my hero.

Adapting to Diverse Science Culture for Development

“Nothing is permanent in this world except change.” In order for us to achieve a better life, change is certainly needed. And through science, we can have this change for it allows people to integrate their lives further from the life that they used to live.

Science, it is the systematized body of knowledge. Without it, there will be no us today. Wherein we make use of it not only in our present generation but in any time. Through it, many things and technologies being discovered and developed; however many people are adapting those innovations in order to make their work easier and life's more comfortable. And now here we are, appreciating the diversity of technology in some other ways. Like in some instances, before, we make us of domesticated animals in working in our fields, but now, we make use of different machines like tractors, harvesters and seeders. Which only proves that science has a big role in integrating the kind of living that we are experiencing before, now, in the future and forever.

We can’t live without it, for it has been a part of our lives since the day that we were born. And so, we must treasure and do every single thing to improve it to benefit not only us but every single matter residing in our world. But we must always remember that things have its own limitations and also, we must not forget that our culture is very important in molding every countryman in its particular country.

FILIPINO LANGUAGE: FROM BALER TO THE WHOLE COUNTRY

Have you ever thought what willed happen if our country won’t have its own language? Will you know how our country discriminated would be?
In Baler, Quezon, there, lived a man who created our national language, the Filipino language. Wherein he based our national language to the Tagalog dialect for he thought that this dialect is the most basic and is easiest one to learn. And because of what he has done, he is now called as the “The Father of Filipino Language” and to whom we owe everything we are speaking right now.

Filipino language, it is the language used by the Filipinos. It is our national language that we love the most. It reflexes our culture, the Filipino. And it shows our whole-being emotions and soul. It symbolizes the culture that we inherited from our ancestors, which we are used to. It reminds us about the revolutions that our ancestors fought for the peace of this nation that we are experiencing now. And through these, we can talk, and trade to our fellow Filipinos, without thinking if we can understand each other. And that in every country, having its own language means having its own unique trademark. This is how important our language is.

WHAT IS HAS NEVER BEEN?

TLE, Technology and Livelihood Education. A subject in my secondary school life which deals with computers. It’s a subject where learning is fun.

In this subject, I learned and discovered lots of things, and improved some of the skills that I’ve learned before. And this matter includes: the history of computer, wherein I learned how the computer emerged from an obsolete to a very high tech one. Another is the history of the internet, wherein I learned how it was developed from a simple thing to a complicated thing. And on who are the personalities behind this worth while things to whom we all this things today. I have also improved my knowledge in researching some matters through the internet by understanding the lessons connected to it and to whom our teacher taught us. My knowledge in blogging also broadened by having us post some blogs which I’ve never done before.

But then, we can’t avoid such problems from encountering us. So as a student, I’ve already encountered some. One of this is the computers that we used. In some cases, it is functioning very slowly and it sometimes has a malfunctions.

Though it has been like this, I was able to deal with the problems. And one of the solutions I made is by being patient and understanding.

Learning is fun. It has never been that boring when it comes to the subject TLE. A subject that I will never forget.

Speak English or Filipino with Kindness

A language is a system for encoding and decoding information. Language is really important especially in terms of communication. Communication is a process of transferring information from one entity to another.

In communicating with others, expressing our thoughts and feelings or ideas is really hard especially when you have difficulty in delivering such words in either language. If your going to use English or Filipino. And if youre already in the process, there are times that you shift from one language to another. Literally speaking, you are speaking in Tag-lish. Thats why here in our school a campaign was launch to resolve certain issue. And to increase the fluency in speaking this languages wholly. But then, this campaign doesnt stops here, for even though youll be able to speak this certain language fluently if you are not kind enough in delivering it, it would certainly be very useless. For you have ruined the whole thing, and does made it worse. And what more, the person whom you're talking to would have a bad impression about you.

So, in speaking or communicating with others, we must always regard not only the fluency of your words but also on how kind you speak, for us not to receive bad impression from others. And always remember that what words you utter, is what people will got.
